NANOTECHNOLOGY

Nanotechnology is the meeting place of various branches of science including physics ,chemistry and biology. Nanotechnology is the science of small things - in particular things that are less than 100 nm in size. The term “nanotechnology” was termed by Professor Norio Taniguchi of Japan. Nanomaterials are chemical substances or materials that are used at a very small scale -down to 10,000 times smaller than the diameter of human hair. This materials have noble characteristics such as increased strength, chemical reactivity or conductivity compared to the same material without nanoscale features. In the past decade innovations in our understanding of nanotechnology have enabled us to begin to understand and control these materials and properties in order to develop new functional and useful materials and devices. According to the great indian scientist , Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam “Nanotechnology will be the future with nanoscience developing nanomaterials and devices”.
Nanotechnology is having an impact on various fields like medicine,
agriculture, electronics, biotechnology and engineering. In medicine, scientists
are developing customized nanoparticles of molecular size that can deliver drugs
directly to diseased cells in our body. Nanotechnology holds some answers for
how we might increase the efficiency of electronic devices, while we reduce their
weight and power consumption. Nanotechnology is helping to advance the use of arthroscope, by making them smaller than a strand of hair in the future.
Nanonephrology is a branch of nanomedicine and nanotechnology which uses nanomaterials for diagnosis therapy and management of diseases of the kidney. In future nanotechnology can also be used in the treatment of cancer.Nanotecnology may hold the key to making space flight more practicle, and canalso improve air quality by improving the performance of catalysts used to
transform vapours escaping from industries and vehicles into harmless gases.
In addition this technology can help in ensuing cleaner water, bettersports equipments, improved fabrics as well as developing sophisticatedcommunicating devices in the military.
We have entered the era of engineered nanomaterials and devices.
Nanotechnology is the new technical revolution and products resulting from it
will affect all areas of our economy and lifestyle.

AN INTRODUCTION TO FEMINISM

ARTICLE ON FEMINISM

ARTICLE/
Collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining , establishing and defending equal rights for women.

INTRODUCTION:

Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies and social movements that is share a common goal to define establishment and achieve political, economic, personal and social right for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education as well as employment.

Feminist movements have campaigned and continue to campaign for women’s rights, including  the rights to vote, to hold public office, to work, to earn fair wages or equal pay, to own property, to receive education, to enter contracts, to have equal rights within marriage and to have maternity leave.

 POSITIVE EFFECT OF FEMINISM:
  • Now a days , a woman is not just a house wife or mother; women are recognized to have equal capabilities with men, and are able to achieve as much as men in professional and self realization fields.
  • Ensuring that every woman has the ability to make the best decisions for herself and her family regarding reproduction which is a big issue in the feminist community.
  • The feminist movement has also create legislative and legal mechanisms that would protect the victims of domestic abuses.
NEGATIVE EFFECT OF FEMINISM:

  • As time progressed , feminism become more extreme and more angry, especially with the “Women’s Liberation” movement of the 1960’s and 1970’s.
  • Women begun shuning marriage because it include promises to be faithful personal responsibility and obedience  to their husbands.
  • Although feminism began with noble goals, in its modern form, it has dangerous and negative mindset.

CONCLUSION:

Numerous feminist movements and ideologies have developed over the years and represent different view points, and aims. Some forms of feminism have been criticized for taking into account only white, middle class and educated
perspectives. This criticism led to the creation of ethnically specific or multicultural forms of feminism including black feminism and intersectional feminism.

CHILD LABOUR & ITS CAUSES

ARTICLE ON CHILD LABOUR

ARTICLE/

First of all We have to know What is meant by CHILD LABOUR. And What are the causes of Child Labour.

INTRODUCTION:

The practice of work done by under age child for making his/her family capable to survive in this world with basic needs is called “Child labour”.
Now a days
Child labour is one of the major concerns for whole world .Children is the future of nation and if a child’s future is healthy, safe and secure then automatically nation’s future will be bright and successful.

CHILD LABOUR, ITS CAUSES, CONSEQUENCES AND LAWS :
Child labour is very harmful for young ones in order to their physical, moral and mental development. Though many reasons are there for child slavery or child trafficking but survey says that main cause of
child labour are high level poverty and lack of access to good education. Development of the country is directly affected by this crime and child labour is a big reason of under-development of the country. A financially developed country provides all circumstances to its citizens that can help in making their new generations educated and healthy.

In India, many organizations are working for preventing this evil child labour but still it is growing in many illegal, unauthorized industries with some legal companies too.
These organizations are of both types, hazardous and non hazardous. According to “The Childs Labour Prohibition and regulation act”, made in 1986, an age criterion for child in hazardous fields is fewer than 14 and non hazardous is under 17.

India is the 2nd highest populated country in the world with around 40% children under age 18 in which half of the total number are engaged in this crime of child labour.
A huge number of poor parents are still not aware of the disadvantages of child labour that affects their children in terms of their education, heath, physical, mental and social growth.

CONCLUSION:

We all should come together for tackling this one of the biggest problem ‘Child Labour’ and bring happiness and joy to our child’s face and Nation.
